We are looking for an experienced Senior Heat Pump Technician with strong hands-on knowledge of heat pump installation, servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, refrigerant charging, electrical controls, and system diagnostics. The technician will be responsible for identifying faults, carrying out repairs, testing system performance, and ensuring heat pump systems operate safely and efficiently
Key Responsibilities
Heat Pump System Troubleshooting
- Diagnose heating and cooling performance problems.
- Troubleshoot high-pressure and low-pressure faults.
- Check water circulation and flow conditions.
- Inspect filters, strainers, valves and circulation systems.
- Identify causes of abnormal noise, vibration, overheating and poor performance.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Test the complete system after repair and confirm normal operating parameters.
Required Technical Skills The candidate should have hands-on experience with:
- Gas/refrigerant filling and charging
- Nitrogen filling and pressure testing
- Leakage detection and repair
- Vacuuming refrigeration systems
- Compressor checking and troubleshooting
- Brazing and copper-pipe work
- Expansion valve (EEV/TXV) checking
- Condenser coil inspection and cleaning
- Heat exchanger checking
- PCB board troubleshooting
- Display/controller troubleshooting
- Flow switch checking
- Sensor testing
- Water-flow and circulation troubleshooting
- Electrical wiring and control circuits
- Pressure and temperature measurement
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Heat pump performance testing
Senior-Level Responsibility The Senior Heat Pump Technician should be capable of independently diagnosing complex refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and control-system faults, guiding junior technicians, carrying out major repairs, and ensuring the heat pump is returned to safe and reliable operation. Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
