As our team continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced People & Culture Lead who can take ownership of our people function and help us build a solid, high-performing team.
What you'll own
- Employee Retention: Identify reasons for attrition, improve employee engagement and build initiatives to retain great people.
- Culture: Work closely with founders to define, build and continuously improve the company's culture.
- Employee Relations: Independently handle employee concerns, conflicts and sensitive people-related situations.
- Hiring: Own sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview coordination and salary negotiations for open roles.
- Team Building: Plan and execute team activities, outings and initiatives that improve collaboration and team bonding.
- Code of Conduct: Define, communicate and continuously improve employee policies and the company's code of conduct.
- HR Operations: Ensure employees follow company policies around attendance, leave, onboarding, exits and other HR processes.
- Performance: Help establish effective performance review, feedback and employee development processes.
- HR Team: Manage and develop the existing HR team and improve the overall HR function.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in HR / People Operations, preferably in a startup or fast-growing company.
- Strong experience in hiring and employee management.
- Someone who can independently handle employee conflicts and difficult conversations.
- Strong understanding of employee engagement and retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Someone who can make decisions independently rather than requiring constant founder approval.
- High ownership, maturity and good judgment.
- Someone who enjoys building processes and culture from scratch.
