Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Test Engineer to lead validation and testing activities for automotive and embedded electronic hardware products. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in vision systems, camera validation, electrical and EMC testing, environmental qualification testing, and hardware verification.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive Validation Test Plans (VTPs) based on customer and product requirements.
- Perform functional validation of vision systems and camera-based products, including color accuracy, contrast, resolution, alignment, and image quality assessments.
- Conduct electrical, EMC/EMI, and environmental validation testing to ensure product compliance and reliability.
- Execute environmental tests involving temperature, vibration, humidity, enclosure, and climatic chamber testing.
- Perform hardware board testing, board bring-up, debugging, and lab validation activities.
- Analyze test results, identify failures, and perform root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone methodologies.
- Create test cases and validation strategies from hardware requirements and specifications.




- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve design and validation issues.
- Support compliance, qualification, and customer validation activities.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Hardware Validation & Testing.
- Hands-on experience in Vision Systems and Camera Functional Testing.
- Robust expertise in Electrical Testing and EMC/EMI Validation.
- Good understanding of environmental qualification testing.
- Experience with CAN/LIN communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with CANape, CANalyzer, and related automotive testing tools.
- Exposure to high-voltage instruments and electronics hardware test laboratories.
- Strong understanding of hardware components, interfaces, and system functionality.
- Ability to derive and execute test cases from hardware requirements.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills
- Automotive electronics validation experience.
- Knowledge of industry validation standards and customer compliance requirements.
- Experience working with climatic chambers and environmental test setups.

Education
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
