Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Hardware Design Engineer with 6+ years of experience in processor-based hardware design, high-speed circuit design, board bring-up, diagnostics, testing, and validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Qualcomm, NXP, TI, Renesas, or similar processor platforms and high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, MIPI, CAN, I2C, and SPI.

Experience in power supply design, LDO/DC-DC regulators, SoM-carrier board design, automotive electronics, and system-level hardware validation will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop processor-based embedded hardware boards for complex embedded systems.
- Perform high-speed circuit design, schematic design/review, component selection, and hardware analysis.
- Work with processors/SoCs from platforms such as Qualcomm, NXP, TI, Renesas, or equivalent.
- Design and validate high-speed interfaces including:
- PCIe
- USB
- Ethernet
- HDMI
- MIPI
- CAN
- I2C
- SPI
- Perform board bring-up, power sequencing, initial hardware validation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Design and validate LDO, DC-DC converter, and power delivery circuits.
- Perform power budget calculations, power analysis, and basic signal/power integrity evaluation.
- Work on SoM and carrier-board based system architecture and hardware design.
- Conduct functional testing, debugging, failure analysis, and design verification of prototype and production boards.
- Interface with PCB layout, firmware, embedded software, mechanical, simulation, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
- Interpret component datasheets and select appropriate electronic components based on system requirements.
- Prepare hardware design documents, test plans, validation reports, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Participate in requirement analysis and translate customer/system requirements into hardware solutions.
- Support prototype development, board revisions, product qualification,



and production release.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues using appropriate laboratory equipment and diagnostic techniques.
- Work on automotive/vehicle electronics and safety-critical embedded systems where applicable.

Required Technical Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Embedded Hardware / Hardware Design.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Experience with processor-based board design.
- Robust understanding of high-speed interfaces and communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience in board bring-up and hardware debugging.
- Experience with power supply circuits, LDOs, DC-DC converters, and power sequencing.
- Understanding of PCB design, stack-up, high-speed routing, signal integrity, and design constraints.
- Experience with hardware design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Cadence, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of component datasheets, hardware specifications, and design documentation.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Qualcomm / NXP / TI / Renesas processors or SoCs.
- Experience in automotive electronics.
- Experience with OBD, telematics, connected vehicle, ADAS, railway, or safety-critical systems.
- Experience with SoM + Carrier Board architecture.
- Exposure to GNSS, cellular/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or connected systems.
- Knowledge of Python/Shell scripting for hardware testing and automation.
- Exposure to hardware simulation and signal/power integrity tools.
- Experience in product development from requirements → design → prototype → bring-up → validation → production.
