Role Description The Senior FPGA Engineer will design, implement, and verify complex FPGA-based solutions for defense and aerospace systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to translate system requirements into robust hardware architectures. Day-to-day responsibilities include RTL design, simulation, integration, and optimization of FPGA modules, as well as applying digital signal processing and signal processing techniques to meet performance and reliability goals.

The role involves hands-on debugging,



hardware bring-up, and collaboration with embedded software and hardware engineering teams to ensure seamless system-level integration. The engineer will also contribute to design documentation, reviews, and adherence to industry standards and internal quality processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in RTL Design and FPGA architecture, including coding in HDL languages (such as VHDL/Verilog) and experience with FPGA toolchains.
- Candidates should possess solid Digital Signal Processing and Signal Processing skills, with the ability to implement and optimize algorithms on FPGA platforms.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Debugging, including hardware bring-up, simulation, verification, and troubleshooting at board and system level.
- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with understanding of high-speed digital design, interfaces, and hardware-software integration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; experience in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability systems is an advantage.
- Experience with industry-standard communication protocols, timing constraints, and design for reliability, plus familiarity with version control and configuration management tools.
- Ability to work in a structured, quality-focused environment, with strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
