About the Role

At Advith, our Virtual Finance Office delivers tech-driven FinOps and strategic finance capabilities to scaling enterprises across diverse industries.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst & Coordinator to serve as the critical operational anchor for multiple client accounts. This role functions as the central bridge connecting our day-to-day execution pods (AP, AR, GL, Tax), the FP&A; Senior Manager, the Customer Relationship AVP, and client finance heads. You will ensure seamless service delivery, enforce delivery timelines, perform first-level quality reviews, analyze financial performance, and ensure numbers are translated into actionable business narratives with zero bottlenecking.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Coordination & Pod Orchestration

- Act as the primary operational coordinator across assigned client engagements, tracking daily execution workflows across FinOps execution teams.
- Maintain the master client deliverable calendar (month-end close, statutory filings, vendor runs, payroll cut-offs, MIS dates)



and drive pods to hit deadlines proactively.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Relationship AVP to flag delivery risks, address client queries, monitor SLA adherence, and manage client communications on operational matters.
- Identify operational bottlenecks early, resolve cross-pod dependencies, and drive accountability so that leadership does not need to step into daily execution.

2. Financial Analysis & Reporting (FP&A; Support)

- Work alongside the FP&A; Senior Manager to prepare monthly Management Information Systems (MIS), budget vs. actual variance reports, and operational dashboards.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow forecasts, margins, and unit economics across various client verticals to identify underlying operational trends.
- Translate raw operational numbers into explicit business commentary, highlighting performance anomalies, cost leakages, and working capital trends.
- Assist in rolling cash forecasts, pricing models, project costing, and profitability analyses for client decision-makers.

3. First-Level Quality Review & Data Integrity

- Perform first-level reviews of monthly schedules, balance sheet reconciliations,



and journal entries prepared by junior pod accountants before data flows into the reporting deck.
- Ensure data hygiene and consistency across ERPs, spreadsheets, and internal tracking systems.
- Validate that numbers in MIS reports reconcile seamlessly with audited financials, statutory returns (GST/TDS), and underlying ledgers.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: Master’s (M.Com, MBA Finance) or Semi-Qualified CA / CMA is a strong plus.
- Experience: 3–5 years of blended experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), Finance Controllership, Client Delivery Coordination, or Virtual CFO services.
- Accounting Foundation: Strong grasp of core accounting principles, GL structures, revenue recognition, and Indian statutory fundamentals (GST, TDS).
- Coordination & Ownership: High decision maturity with the ability to orchestrate tasks across multiple teams, manage competing client deadlines, and follow through independently.
- Analytical Tools: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets (financial modeling, nested formulas, pivot tables, dashboarding). Exposure to Power BI / Tableau and modern cloud ERPs (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, TallyPrime) is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with senior internal stakeholders, client CFOs, and operational founders.
- Mindset: Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, with a keen eye for finding the business story behind the numbers.
