About the Opportunity

We are hiring a Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis to support the financial operations of a premier Australian industrial manufacturing, cable supply, and renewable energy infrastructure group headquartered in Melbourne, Australia .

This role is ideal for a proactive finance leader with a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and operational cost management who can work seamlessly according to Australian business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Planning & Analysis: Drive budgeting, financial forecasting, P&L; reporting, and variance analysis across business operations.
- Financial Reporting & Statements: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, cash flow reports, and balance sheets.
- Process & Cost Optimization: Monitor project/operational costs and identify opportunities for operational efficiency, margin improvements, and cost reduction.
- Compliance & Audit Management: Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, corporate tax requirements, and internal financial controls; coordinate with external auditors and banking partners.
- Strategic Insights:



Provide actionable financial analysis and business recommendations to senior leadership to support growth and risk mitigation.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain smooth communication with international finance teams, cross-functional business units, and external partners.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline. Professional qualifications like CA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) are strongly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in financial management, budgeting, reporting, and commercial analysis.
- Shift Alignment: Willingness and capability to work aligned with Melbourne, Australia business hours .
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills for working with Australian management and global partners.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial reporting tools, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

- Industry Experience: Prior experience in electrical cable supply, telecommunications, civil construction, industrial manufacturing, or renewable energy / solar circular economy sectors will be highly preferred.
- Exposure to Australian accounting standards, GST, and international tax frameworks is a strong plus.
