Key Responsibilities

- Payment Gateway Reconciliation: Perform weekly reconciliation of daily Payment Gateway (PG) settlements against bank statements and identify, investigate, and track discrepancies to closure.
- Accounting & Provisions: Ensure accurate and timely accounting of PG settlements, payment gateway charges, refunds, and related provisions.
- Sales Validation: Validate monthly sales data against relevant source reports and systems to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Monthly Sales Reporting: Prepare and share validated sales figures and reconciliation status with relevant SPOCs and follow up on outstanding items.
- Exception & Issue Resolution: Investigate reconciliation breaks, settlement mismatches, accounting differences, and other revenue related exceptions, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Revenue Assurance & Controls: Identify revenue leakage, process gaps, and recurring reconciliation issues and recommend corrective actions to strengthen controls.
- Audit Support: Provide reconciliations, workings,



supporting documents, and explanations required for internal and external audits.
- MIS & Reporting: Prepare periodic reconciliation reports, track open items and exceptions, and provide insights on key trends to management.
- Ad-hoc Activities: Support finance, revenue assurance, reconciliation, reporting, and analytical activities as required by management.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 2-4 years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Finance Operations, Reconciliation, Accounts, or Financial Controls.
- Strong understanding of Payment Gateway settlements, bank reconciliation, sales reconciliation, and accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel/Google Sheets and large data sets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues to closure.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, fintech, payments, or a high volume transaction workplace would be preferred.
