Role & responsibilities -

Role Purpose Responsible for vehicle-level EFI/EMS calibration and validation for two-wheeler gasoline applications. Support calibration activities during development through PVS/VRT and SOP. Ensure achievement of performance, drivability, emission, fuel economy, and CTQ targets as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities Perform EFI/EMS calibration and optimization for two-wheeler gasoline applications to achieve performance, drivability, fuel economy, emission, and CTQ targets. Support ECU software integration, functionality testing, and validation with vehicle systems, sensors, and actuators. Conduct vehicle, bench, dyno, PVS/VRT, emission, durability, and regulatory testing under various operating conditions.

Analyse vehicle and test data to identify performance gaps and implement calibration optimization and corrective actions. Support software/calibration validation, CVN generation, release activities, and configuration management. Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify performance and drivability improvement opportunities.

Validation calibration/software countermeasures. Maintain calibration files, software versions, A2L, HEX, DCM, CVN,



test reports, and technical documentation with proper traceability. Coordinate with Design, Software, Hardware, Testing, Quality, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers for technical issue resolution and project activities.

Execute assigned calibration activities within project timelines, track deliverables, support SOP/project milestones, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Technical

Skills

Required Technical Skills * 6-8 years of experience in automotive/two-wheeler EFI/EMS calibration and vehicle testing. Strong understanding of engine management systems, ECU architecture, fuel injection, ignition, lambda, idle control, and throttle/ETB systems. Hands-on experience with ETAS INCA or equivalent calibration tools and basic knowledge of CAN communication/tools.

Good understanding of vehicle drivability, engine performance, emission, and OBD requirements. Solid data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with hands-on vehicle/engine testing experience.
