- Supervise meter reading, meter replacement, consumer visits, and other commercial field activities.
- Plan and allocate daily jobs, routes, and field activities to field teams based on operational requirements.
- Monitor daily team productivity and track achievement against assigned targets.
- Verify consumer, meter, and service details before initiating meter replacement activities.
- Supervise the safe removal of old meters and installation of current meters as per approved procedures.
- Verify meter number, initial/final reading, seals, photographs, and other required job details.
- Monitor the quality of meter replacement work and ensure adherence to approved technical and commercial procedures.
- Monitor and coordinate cases involving defective, damaged, tampered, burnt, inaccessible, or abnormal meters.
- Identify and resolve technical and commercial issues encountered during field operations.
- Coordinate with AEML field personnel for operational requirements, approvals, clarifications, and issue resolution.
- Verify completed, pending, failed, rejected, and unsuccessful jobs and ensure timely closure of pending activities.
- Monitor consumer complaints related to field activities and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Supervise field teams during consumer visits and ensure professional conduct and adherence to defined processes.
- Monitor field data captured through mobile applications and digital field systems.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of photographs, GPS/location details, meter information, and job completion records.
- Monitor materials issued to field teams and ensure proper utilization, reconciliation, and accountability.
- Ensure field teams follow all applicable safety procedures,



PPE requirements, and site safety guidelines.
- Prepare and submit daily activity, productivity, exception, pending-job, and field performance reports.
- Track operational exceptions and highlight recurring field issues to the Project Manager.
- Escalate critical technical, commercial, consumer, safety, and operational issues to the Project Manager for further action.
- Support the Project Manager in achieving overall project productivity, quality, and service-level targets.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Good knowledge of electrical field operations and meter replacement
- activities.
- Understanding of electricity meters, meter installation, readings, seals, and field verification processes.
- Strong team supervision and workforce coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and field reporting.
- Ability to work with mobile applications and digital field-data collection systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage field teams and achieve daily operational targets.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, documentation, and compliance.
- Ability to work in outdoor/field environments and handle operational pressure.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical distribution, meter replacement, meter reading, commercial operations, utility projects, or field operations.
- Experience in electricity distribution / power utility projects will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in supervising field teams and managing meter related activities will be preferred.
