Your responsibilities:

- Develop innovative and cost-effective Interco products from concept through industrialization.
- Create 3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs and technical documentation using Creo, Think3 and AutoCAD.
- Manage prototype development, product testing, validation, qualification and product release.
- Conduct design calculations, feasibility studies, technical evaluations and R&D; reports.
- Review designs for manufacturability, reliability, serviceability and cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, Tendering and Business Development teams.
- Support tooling, fixtures, gauges, vendor development and first-sample approvals.
- Provide technical inputs for DFMEA/PFMEA, Control Plans, inspection and quality validation.
- Prepare work instructions,



installation instructions, sales drawings, GTPs and technical datasheets.
- Support customer-specific product development, tenders, BOQs, technical clarifications and export requirements.
- Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, value engineering and continuous product improvement.
- Maintain product data, engineering changes, revisions and development schedules in PLM/ERP systems.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable engineering and product standards.

Required profile:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, R&D; or new product development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Creo; working knowledge of Think3 and AutoCAD.
- Experience in 3D modelling, detailed drawings, GD&T;, design calculations and BOM management.
- Practical knowledge of prototype development, testing, validation and qualification activities.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including casting, forging, machining, fabrication, sheet metal and assembly.
- Familiarity with DFMEA/PFMEA, Control Plans, root-cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience with ISO 9001 design and development processes, PLM and engineering change management.
- Experience in power, electrical connectors, transmission and distribution, automotive or heavy engineering industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP Business One is an advantage.
- Robust communication, coordination and cross-functional teamwork skills
