Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Maintenance Engineer to oversee the general maintenance, uptime, and safety of our plant machinery and utility systems. You will lead preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance to ensure zero production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Machinery Maintenance: Manage routine and breakdown maintenance of industrial machines including Laminators, Slitters, and Aluminum food containers, Kitchen foil roll and Blown film plant.
- Utility Operations: Oversee the smooth operation and upkeep of critical utilities: Thermopac Boilers, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, EOT Cranes, Dock Levelers, Industrial Lifts and DG Sets.
- Preventive Planning: Design and execute weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance schedules to minimize unexpected breakdowns.
- Team Leadership: Guide and supervise a team of technicians and external service vendors.
- Safety & Compliance:



Ensure all machinery and utilities comply with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Inventory Management: Maintain critical spares inventory to ensure quick turnaround times during breakdowns

Preferred candidate profile Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

- Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing plant maintenance.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Direct experience handling Boilers (Thermopac), Compressors, and Material Handling Equipment (Cranes/Lifts).
- Familiarity with automation/PLC systems is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership qualities, and good communication skills.
