About this role

As a senior technical member of the Hosting team, the Senior Engineer - Application Services (PaaS) will lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise application platform services across multiple cloud providers. The role combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with platform leadership, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable PaaS services that enable application teams to deliver business value faster.

What you'll do

- Multi-Cloud PaaS Governance: Manage and govern core PaaS primitives across Microsoft Azure (App Services, Logic Apps, API Management) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Apigee), establishing secure integration patterns at enterprise scale.
- Network Integration & Secure Connectivity: Configure and manage advanced cloud networking capabilities, leveraging VNet Subnet Delegation, private networking, and secure ingress/egress controls to eliminate unnecessary public exposure and strengthen platform security.
- Power Platform Governance: Define and oversee enterprise guardrails for the Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on setting isolation strategies and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) connector policies to ensure compliance and prevent data leakage.
- Platform Security & Compliance: Drive cloud governance standards, security controls, and operational best practices across application hosting platforms to ensure resilient and compliant service delivery.
- Automation & Platform Enablement:



Promote platform automation, infrastructure-as-code practices, and reusable patterns that improve operational efficiency and developer productivity.

What you'll bring
- Approximately 10+ years of commercial experience in cloud platform engineering, application hosting, or infrastructure engineering roles within enterprise-scale environments.
- Multi-Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience managing application platform services across Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Cloud Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud-native networking concepts, including private endpoints, virtual networking, secure egress patterns, subnet delegation, and connectivity architectures.
- Governance & Security Focus: Experience implementing cloud governance frameworks, security standards, compliance controls, and data protection mechanisms in large organizations.
- Platform Automation: Proven experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation frameworks, and policy-driven platform management approaches.
- Enterprise Integration Experience: Ability to design and support secure integration architectures involving APIs, application services, and cloud-native workloads.
- Squad-Based Delivery: Experience working within Agile teams, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Architects, Security teams, and Engineering squads.
