Roles and responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and complete equipment using AutoCAD, CATIA V5, and SolidWorks.

- Handle end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept design to production release.

- Prepare and review Part Design, Assembly Models, and Detailed Engineering Drawings.

- Develop manufacturing drawings for machined, fabricated, and sheet metal components.

- Ensure all designs meet customer specifications, industry standards, and manufacturing feasibility.

- Create and review BOM (Bill of Materials) and ensure accuracy for production planning.

- Perform basic engineering calculations related to strength, load, fitment, and material selection.

- Work closely with production, quality,



and procurement teams for design validation and implementation.

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and drafting team.

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for design feasibility and improvement suggestions.

- Ensure compliance with valuable manufacturing practices (GMP) especially in food equipment design.

- Review and approve engineering drawings before release for manufacturing.
