Role & responsibilities

1. Plan, budget, and schedule electrical infrastructure projects from the conceptual stage through installation and final commissioning.
2. Develop single-line diagrams, select high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) systems, and design site substations and motor control centers (MCCs) & Power back up system.
3. Supervise the integration of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA networks used for monitoring mine ventilation, processing plants, and conveyors.
4. Prepare technical bid evaluations, manage external contractors in office, and ensure remedial or construction work meets project standards.
5. Enforce strict adherence to statutory mining electrical codes, local safety regulations, and environmental standards to prevent hazards.
6. Oversee equipment performance tests, troubleshoot electrical failures,



and ensure reliable power availability across the unit.

All Statutory requirement as per CEAR-2023.
1. Maintaining all requisite data for allocated area. (Inventory Management, Asset Management, Contract Management, Process Performance, B/D details, Housekeeping, HSE, LOTO etc.)

Additional Responsibilities: - Co-ordination with Electrical foreman and Electrician, Project In charge, Supply Chain, Mines Manager, and In Charge of Electrical, Mechanical, Store, Personnel, Security & service provider Counterpart and other allied services.

Educational qualifications preferred :-

B.E / B.tech in Electrical Engineering

Required Certification/s: -

HT Supervisor Competency Certificate covering mining endorsement.
