Role description

We are seeking an experienced Email Security qualified with deep expertise in Email Security and Microsoft Defender Office 365. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining a robust email security posture. This role requires hands-on experience in email threat protection, incident response, security operations, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the technical authority and subject matter expert for Email Security and Microsoft Defender Office 365.
- Design and implement email security architectures and best practices to enhance organizational security.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365 security policies, including anti-malware, anti-spam, anti-phishing, Safe Attachments, and Safe Links protections.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to email security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct email security assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Collaborate with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online teams to ensure secure and seamless email operations.
- Develop and maintain email security documentation, operational procedures, policies, and incident response playbooks.
- Provide guidance on emerging email threats, threat intelligence, and security best practices.
- Conduct end-user awareness initiatives,



including email security training and phishing simulation programs.
- Mentor team members and share expertise related to email security technologies and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Evaluate Microsoft Defender for Office 365 enhancements and recommend improvements to strengthen security controls.
