About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DPDPA GRC Consultant to support and manage day-to-day activities across multiple DPDPA workstreams.

The candidate will work closely with the Program Lead, Head of DPDPA, internal business teams, and external implementation partner. The role requires robust GRC experience, practical DPDP understanding, stakeholder coordination, follow-up ownership, and the ability to track multiple deliverables across the engagement.

This is a senior coordination and execution role. The candidate must be able to understand DPDPA workstreams, track progress, identify risks, escalate delays, and ensure that partner execution remains aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a senior team member across all DPDPA workstreams.
- Coordinate day-to-day DPDPA program activities.
- Follow through on directions issued by the Program Lead, Head of DPDPA, and external partner.
- Track deliverables, timelines, open items, risks, dependencies, and pending actions.
- Maintain workstream-wise trackers and ensure timely closure of action items.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partner teams for required inputs and updates.
- Ensure alignment between business priorities and partner execution plan.
- Review progress across DPDPA gap assessment, implementation, documentation, and closure activities.
- Identify risks, delays, missing inputs, or blockers across the engagement.
- Escalate risks, delays, or dependencies to the Head of DPDPA promptly.
- Support regular status reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure meeting action items are tracked and followed up till closure.




- Help maintain visibility on department-wise progress and pending items.
- Support audit-readiness and evidence tracking for DPDPA-related activities.

Required Skills

- 6–7 years of experience in GRC, compliance, audit, risk, privacy, or information security governance.
- Hands-on experience or strong working exposure to DPDP / DPDPA is mandatory.
- Good understanding of data protection, privacy, personal data handling, consent, notice, data retention, vendor sharing, and grievance handling.
- Experience in compliance implementation, gap assessment, audit readiness, or risk remediation tracking.
- Strong project coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with Legal, IT, HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and business teams.
- Ability to manage trackers, action items, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with senior leadership and external consulting partners.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ownership, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, or similar tools.

Good to Have

- Experience in ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, privacy compliance, internal audit, risk management, or vendor risk management.
- Experience working with external consulting or implementation partners.
- Experience in large organization-wide compliance or transformation programs.
- Understanding of data inventory, data flow mapping, consent management, Data Principal rights, and audit evidence.

Candidate Must Have

- Delhi NCR based or willing to work from Delhi office.
- Immediate joining availability.
- 6–7 years of relevant GRC experience.
- DPDP / DPDPA experience.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to track and drive multiple workstreams at the same time.
