Job Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer

Experience: 7-10yrs

Location: Chennai

Responsibilities

- Design and develop user-facing features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Build and maintain server-side applications and APIs using languages like JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Java, or other relevant technologies
- Create and optimize databases and ensure seamless data flow between client and server
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage containers with orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack
- Write scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to our tech stack

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.)
- Very good hands-on scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
- Strong cloud skills with experience in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker,



Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Understanding of security best practices for web applications
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
