Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure Cloud, Kubernetes/AKS, Infrastructure as Code, networking, automation and production infrastructure.
This is a DevOps + Cloud Infrastructure + Platform Engineering role and is broader than a traditional CI/CD-focused DevOps position. The candidate will be responsible for building, managing and troubleshooting cloud environments, Kubernetes platforms, integrations, networking and production workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision and manage Azure Cloud environments across development, staging and production.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep and/or ARM/Terraform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Manage Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized workloads.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes runtime, deployment, scaling and networking issues.
- Work with Azure API Management (APIM), OpenAPI and API integrations.
- Support data integration and streaming workloads.
- Enable infrastructure/platform requirements for AI/ML workloads on Azure.
- Manage on-premises to Azure connectivity, including ExpressRoute, VPN, firewalls, routing, DNS and network/security rules.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging,
observability and alerting.
- Provide production support, incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with application, data, security and network teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms.
MUST-HAVE Skills Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in most of the following:
- 8–12 years in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure / Platform Engineering
- Microsoft Azure – strong hands-on experience
- Kubernetes / AKS
- Infrastructure as Code – Bicep preferred
- CI/CD and DevOps automation
- Azure API Management (APIM) / OpenAPI / API integrations
- Azure networking and hybrid connectivity
- ExpressRoute / Firewall / Routing / DNS / Network Security
- Linux and Docker/container technologies
- Production troubleshooting and incident management
- Cloud monitoring / logging / observability
GOOD-TO-HAVE Skills
- Azure Bicep if primary IaC experience is Terraform/ARM
