Leads desktop engineering standards and complex endpoint issue resolution across integration waves, mentoring Desktop Engineers and owning the imaging/configuration baseline used across all sites.
Reports to: Infrastructure Architect / Project Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the desktop imaging and configuration baseline (FPW/GRF standards, Intune policies)
- Lead acceptance QA on vendor-delivered builds and escalate deviations from standard
- Troubleshoot complex/escalated desktop and endpoint issues across integration waves
- Mentor and provide technical direction to Desktop Engineers
- Partner with the Infrastructure Architect on endpoint security and compliance requirements
- Evaluate and pilot new imaging/deployment tools or processes to improve delivery speed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in desktop/endpoint engineering, including team or technical lead experience
- Deep expertise with Windows imaging, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and endpoint security baselines
- Experience managing vendor-delivered hardware/imaging at scale
- Solid documentation and mentoring skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience standardizing desktop builds across multiple M&A; integrations
- Relevant Microsoft or endpoint security certifications
