Role & responsibilities :

1. Design, build, enhance, upgrade, and maintain Db2 LUW environments for multiple clients in shared support model

2. Perform software installations, upgrades, patches, and performance tuning of Db2 LUW instances and databases

3. Implement and maintain database security, backup strategies, recovery procedures, and HADR/TSA configurations

4. Serve as technical escalation point for complex DBA issues, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

5. Coordinate with global DBA teams and client stakeholders to align with business needs and mentor junior DBAs

Preferred candidate profile:

- More than six years of experience in Db2 LUW database administration

- Excellent understanding of Db2 LUW technology (builds, upgrades, patching, migrations,



troubleshooting multiple versions of Db2 LUW)

- Extensive database performance tuning experience

- Deep knowledge of industry-standard, enterprise-class best practices for a large database workplace

- Good understanding of UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms

- Deep understanding of Db2 HADR and TSA/Pacemaker

- Experience implementing, supporting and auditing database security

- Experience with transaction log management, backup strategies and security configuration using LDAP

- Knowledge of Db2 Connect and Db2 client connectivity
