We are hiring an experienced Datacom Software Engineer for a hands-on product development position with HPE.
Key requirements:
- 6–9 years of relevant software development experience
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems software
- Robust knowledge of L2/L3 packet forwarding and data-plane development
- Experience developing ACL, firewall, filtering or related packet-processing features
- Good debugging, testing, integration and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on networking products such as switches, routers or network operating systems
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
This is a software development position. Network support, NOC, system administration and configuration-only profiles will not be considered.
