Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Quality Assurance Specialist with strong experience in Data QA, ETL/ELT testing, SQL, Data Warehousing, Data Validation, and Power BI. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of data across enterprise data pipelines, warehouses, integrations, and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for data pipelines and integrations.

Perform end-to-end ETL/ELT testing using SQL and Python.

Validate source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.

Perform data reconciliation and balancing across source, staging, warehouse, and reporting layers.

Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.

Perform Power BI dashboard, report, dataset, KPI, and business-logic validation.

Validate DAX measures, calculations, filters, dimensions, hierarchies, and business rules.

Identify, document, and track data-quality defects.

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for data and production issues.

Support production troubleshooting, regression testing, and release validation.

Validate internal and third-party data integrations.

Support audit, business, and ad-hoc data-quality investigations.





Contribute to data-quality monitoring and QA processes.

Work with development, data engineering, BI, and business teams to resolve data issues.

Apply knowledge of data governance, MDM, and data lineage concepts.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in Data QA, ETL Testing, BI Testing, or Data Warehousing.

Strong knowledge of SQL / Microsoft SQL Server.

Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT testing.

Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.

Experience with source-to-target validation and data reconciliation.

Good knowledge of Power BI and DAX.

Experience with Python/PySpark for data validation or automation.

Experience working with large datasets and complex data-quality issues.

Good understanding of QA methodologies and defect management.

Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and data lineage.

Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Experience with enterprise BI/reporting environments.

Experience in production support and troubleshooting.

Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data engineering technologies.

Experience with third-party data integrations.

Knowledge of automated data-quality frameworks.
