We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Developer with experience in Power BI and ETL processes to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming, data processing, and data visualization, with a proven track record of developing efficient ETL pipelines and creating insightful reports using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Java Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.

- Write clean, effective, and well-documented code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load):

- Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into the required format, and load it into target databases.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the ETL process.

- Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability.

- Maintain and update ETL documentation.

- Power BI Analysis and Reporting:

- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.

- Connect to various data sources and transform data for analysis.

- Implement data models, measures, and KPIs in Power BI.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver customized solutions.

- Database Management

- Work with relational databases, particularly MySQL,



to design and maintain database schemas.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

- Ensure database performance, security, and reliability.

- Collaboration and Communication

- Work closely with data analysts, business analysts, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of applications and data flows.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of professional experience in Java development.

- Strong knowledge of Java frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).

- Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.

- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

- Experience with MySQL and JDBC.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
