Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Senior CAD Engineer who will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings and designs. The candidate should have good knowledge of CAD software and be able to convert concepts and requirements into accurate technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings as per requirements.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Develop product designs and make necessary design modifications.
- Ensure drawings comply with required dimensions, specifications, and standards.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and engineering teams for design requirements.
- Review drawings for accuracy and identify design-related issues.
- Maintain proper records of drawings and revisions.
- Support prototype development and product improvement activities.
- Prepare BOMs and other technical documents when required.
- Ensure all drawings are completed within the required timelines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks / Creo / 3D CAD software will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, and basic engineering standards.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers with good CAD knowledge may also apply.
Experience 0–3 years of relevant experience in CAD designing/drafting.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with experience in medical equipment, hospital furniture, surgical equipment, or manufacturing will be preferred.
- Should be able to work independently as well as with a team.
