We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with 8+ years of experience and strong knowledge of the capital markets domain. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, preparing functional documentation, supporting data-driven solutions, and working closely with business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.

- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

- Understand capital markets business processes, products, and data requirements.

- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

- Work closely with Product Owners, developers, testers, and business stakeholders.

- Create and maintain JIRA user stories, acceptance criteria, and project documentation.

- Perform data analysis using SQL and validate business requirements.

- Create process maps, data flows, and Entity-Relationship diagrams.

- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and support functional, regression, and UAT testing.

- Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend process improvements.

- Support system implementation, product releases, and post-production activities.

- Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates.

- Work effectively in Agile and Scrum environments.

Mandatory Skills

- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Systems Analyst.





- Strong experience in the capital markets or financial services domain.

- Expertise in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.

- Strong knowledge of BRD, FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.

- Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and business process improvement.

- Strong SQL knowledge for data extraction, analysis, and validation.

- Experience creating data flows, ER diagrams, and functional specifications.

- Experience preparing test cases and supporting UAT, regression, and functional testing.

- Experience working with JIRA or similar requirements-management tools.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills.

- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work independently and lead business-analysis activities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with data-driven products, dashboards, or reporting solutions.

- Knowledge of financial data, market data, securities, equities, or investment research.

- Experience supporting product implementation and go-live activities.

- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, or similar reporting tools.

- Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
