Role & responsibilities
- Lead installation , calibration , and preventive maintenance of diagnostic and and laboratory euipment (analyzers ,imaging systems) across assigned centres.
- Own euiqpment uptime- drive faster fault diagnosis and resolution, and minimize service disruption
- Ensure euipment compliance with NABL/NABH standards and lead internal/external audit readiness.
- Manage OEM and vendor relationips -AMCs,spares, escalations and service- quality reviews.
- Build and maintain euipment lifecycle records-calibration logs,service history, and asset documentation.
- Mentor and train junior biomedical engineers and lab/clinical staff on euipment, evaluation ,installation, and comissioning, partnering with clinical and quality teams.
- Drive cost optimization on AMC renewals,spares inventory, and equipment replacement planning.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E/B.tech in Biomedical Engineering (or realted Field),
- 5+ years in a diagnostic/ healthcare equipment and calibration requirements.
- Proven vendor and AMC management experience.
- Track record of mentoring or leading a small technical team.
- Solid problem-solving skills and comfort working across multiple centres.
