Role Description The Senior Boiler Erection Engineer will oversee and coordinate boiler erection activities for power plant and industrial projects at the Aurangabad site in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Responsibilities include planning erection sequences, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and supervising site teams to ensure accurate alignment, fit-up, welding, and installation of boiler components. The role involves monitoring daily progress, managing subcontractors, conducting quality checks, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. The engineer will collaborate with project managers, design teams, and client representatives, troubleshoot technical issues, and prepare reports on work completion, resource utilization, and site deviations.

The position also requires mentoring junior engineers and technicians,



optimizing methods to improve productivity, and supporting commissioning activities as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong technical expertise in boiler erection, power plant construction, and mechanical equipment installation, including familiarity with pressure parts and structural steel.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, isometrics, P&IDs;, and technical specifications, with practical knowledge of erection sequences and tolerances.
- Experience in site supervision, team leadership, and coordination of contractors and trades, with a focus on secure work practices and schedule adherence.
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, quality control procedures, and inspection methods for welding, alignment, hydrotesting, and mechanical integrity.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project management, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in basic project planning tools, reporting, and documentation, including preparation of progress reports, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline, with significant experience in boiler erection or heavy industrial construction.
- Demonstrated experience on large-capacity boiler projects or major industrial installations; prior exposure to refinery, petrochemical, or steel plants is an advantage.
