Senior Azure Platform & DevOps Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Azure Platform & DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, automation, and operational management of the Clarity AI 360 platform. This individual will own cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD pipelines, security, observability, and platform reliability across production and non-production environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, cloud security, and infrastructure automation in enterprise-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, networking, and Kubernetes (AKS) environments.

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and DevSecOps best practices.

- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Bicep), configuration management, and GitOps methodologies.

- Administer Azure Key Vault, secrets management, managed identities, and workload identity solutions.

- Manage container platforms, image registries, security scanning, and deployment automation.

- Support and maintain PostgreSQL, Redis, Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, and related data services.

- Build and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and OpenTelemetry.

- Ensure platform security, compliance, and governance through WAF, API Management, network policies, vulnerability scanning, and HIPAA-aligned controls.

- Participate in architecture reviews, incident management, capacity planning,



and platform modernization initiatives.

- Mentor development teams on cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including AKS, ACR, APIM, PostgreSQL, Redis, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, ADLS Gen2, and Azure Networking.

- Advanced Kubernetes administration experience, including cluster upgrades, autoscaling, networking, security policies, and workload identity.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

- Strong knowledge of Docker, container security, image management, and registry operations.

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.

- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, and production support best practices.

- Experience implementing cloud security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.

- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, and YAML-based automation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AWS services such as EKS, ECR, RDS, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.

- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.

- Knowledge of Databricks, Azure OpenAI, and AI/ML platform deployments.

- Experience supporting healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environments.

- Familiarity with UHG/Optum cloud platforms and enterprise infrastructure standards.
