About the Role:

LDS Infotech is looking for a Senior Azure Engineer with 4–7 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, migrating, modernizing, and managing Microsoft Azure environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, hybrid cloud, identity integration, security, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive cloud implementation projects.

The role will involve working closely with customers, internal technical teams, and project stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, scalable, and well-governed Azure solutions. The candidate will also be expected to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards, automation, and service improvement initiatives.

Detailed (Key Responsibilities):

Azure Infrastructure & Implementation o Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure based on customer and business requirements.

o Implement and manage Azure Virtual Machines, storage, networking, security, monitoring, and backup services.

o Develop secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient Azure infrastructure solutions.

o Perform infrastructure configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

o Ensure cloud environments follow established security and operational standards.

Cloud Migration & Modernization o Lead or participate in Azure migration and modernization projects.

o Assess existing on-premises infrastructure and recommend appropriate Azure migration strategies.

o Plan and execute workload migrations while minimizing business disruption.

o Support modernization initiatives involving Azure-native services and hybrid environments.





o Troubleshoot migration-related infrastructure, connectivity, and performance issues.

Azure Networking & Hybrid Cloud o Design and manage Azure Virtual Networks, subnets, NSGs, routing, Load Balancers, and related networking components.

o Implement and troubleshoot hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure.

o Work with VPN and other hybrid connectivity technologies.

o Diagnose network connectivity, DNS, routing, firewall, and access-related issues.

o Apply network security and segmentation best practices.

Monitoring, Backup & Disaster Recovery o Configure and manage Azure Monitor and related monitoring and alerting solutions.

o Implement Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.

o Design and support disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

o Conduct recovery testing and ensure appropriate RPO/RTO requirements are addressed.

o Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, availability, and performance.

Identity & Microsoft Ecosystem o Support identity integration between on-premises environments and Microsoft cloud services.

o Work with Microsoft Entra ID fundamentals, authentication, access control, and identity-related configurations.

o Support Azure Virtual Desktop environments where required.

o Contribute to Microsoft 365 and broader Microsoft ecosystem integrations.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation o Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code frameworks using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent technologies.

o Automate repetitive infrastructure deployment and operational activities.

o Contribute to deployment templates, standards, and reusable implementation frameworks.

o Support Azure DevOps and CI/CD initiatives where applicable.

Troubleshooting & Operations o Lead complex infrastructure troubleshooting and root cause analysis.





o Identify recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions.

o Participate in incident resolution, problem management, and operational improvement initiatives.

o Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.

Customer Engagement o Participate in customer workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution discussions.

o Understand customer requirements and translate them into practical Azure solutions.

o Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

o Support pre-sales and solution discussions when required.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring o Review technical deliverables prepared by junior engineers.

o Ensure implementation quality and adherence to technical standards.

o Mentor and guide junior cloud/infrastructure engineers.

o Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to team capability development.

Preffered Certification:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

Certifications are preferred but robust hands-on project experience will also be considered.

Candidate Requirement:

- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud engineering.
- Strong experience with Azure VMs, VNet, NSG, Load Balancers, Storage, Azure Monitor, Backup and Site Recovery.
- Good understanding of Azure networking, hybrid connectivity and identity integration.
- Hands-on experience in cloud migration, modernization and infrastructure implementation.
- Strong Windows/Linux administration and networking troubleshooting skills.
- Exposure to Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps and CI/CD is preferred.
- Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones, Entra ID, AVD, governance and cost optimization will be an advantage.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting, RCA and handling production infrastructure issues.
- Good communication skills with the ability to participate in customer discussions and technical workshops.
- Ability to independently deliver projects and mentor junior cloud engineers.
