Job Summary

Test, discover, and report bugs found in released software following a provided testing methodology. Expertise in automating device tests using PowerShell scripting, Windows Hardware Lab Kit (HLK), and debugging skills with a focus on .DMP analysis and stability testing ensuring the quality, stability, and compatibility of hardware devices and drivers’. Additionally, able to conduct performance benchmarking and analyze results.This position will play a key role in ensuring that hardware devices and drivers meet stringent quality, performance, and stability standards.

Key Responsibilities

Expertise in automating device tests using PowerShell scripting, Windows Hardware Lab Kit (HLK), and debugging skills with a focus on .DMP analysis and stability testing ensuring the quality, stability, and compatibility of hardware devices and drivers’. Additionally, able to conduct performance benchmarking and analyze results.This position will play a key role in ensuring that hardware devices and drivers meet stringent quality, performance, and stability standards.

Skill Requirements

Mandatory Skills

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a SW Automation Test Engineer.




- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating device tests, logs, and other testing tasks.

Experience working with Windows Hardware Lab Kit (HLK) for device and driver testing on Windows platforms.

- In-depth knowledge of advanced debugging tools (e.g., WinDbg, Visual Studio Debugger) and the ability to perform detailed analysis of .DMP files (memory dumps).
- Hands-on experience with device driver testing, ensuring compatibility, stability, and performance of hardware drivers.

Experience in performance benchmarking and including tools for CPU,memory, disk, and network performance measurements.

- Good understanding of device driver architecture and how it interacts with hardware and software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a quick-paced environment.

Other Requirements

Desired Skills

- Familiarity with additional scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, C#) and experience with test automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of system internals (e.g., OS kernel, device drivers) and their interactions with hardware.
- knowledge of networking concepts
- Triaging & Debugging experience on Windows platform and exposure in running batch files/scripts for automation test.
