About the Role

As a Senior Android Engineer, you’ll architect scalable, modular Android apps using Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Hilt, and MCP frameworks, while integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude) and AI-driven workflows into real-world production apps.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain large-scale, multi-module Android apps with optimized Gradle build systems and modular architecture.
- Implement Jetpack Compose UIs with high performance, accessibility, and seamless UX.
- Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude) and MCP (Model Context Protocol) frameworks for agentic workflows, context handling, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Optimize build performance, reduce APK size, and ensure fast CI/CD pipelines.
- Diagnose and resolve memory leaks, ANRs, and performance bottlenecks using Firebase Crashlytics, LeakCanary, and Android Profiler.
- Apply Hilt/Dagger for robust dependency injection and testable, maintainable code.
- Lead unit, integration, and system testing with strong coverage and CI/CD automation.
- Champion clean architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture)



and functional programming principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-first mobile experiences.

Must-Have Skills

- 5+ years of Android development in Kotlin for enterprise-grade, global-scale apps.
- Expertise in Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines & Flow, DataStore, Room, OkHttp, Protocol Buffers, WorkManager.
- Hands-on experience with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics) and CI/CD in distributed environments.
- Proven experience integrating LLM APIs and working with MCP tool servers in production.
- Strong understanding of token management, context handling, AI error recovery, and agentic workflows.
- Active GitHub portfolio with well-architected Android projects (open-source contributions a plus).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, technical documentation, and peer code reviews.

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with AI-powered features in mobile apps (e.g., chatbots, predictive UIs, smart suggestions).
- Familiarity with model context protocols (MCP) and AI agent orchestration.
- Contributions to open-source Android libraries or technical blogs.
