Job Summary

Evalueserve is seeking a consultant with extensive experience in, Patent Prosecution, and Intellectual Property Consulting for US and Indian jurisdictions. The role requires leading complex patent drafting and prosecution engagements, managing client relationships, mentoring teams, ensuring delivery excellence, and providing strategic IP guidance to inventors, attorneys, and global clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in the Hitech domain, combined with deep knowledge of patent laws, drafting strategies, prosecution practices, and portfolio development to support innovation and intellectual property protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft high-quality Office Action Responses, including claim amendments, legal arguments, and technical explanations to support patentability and strengthen claim scope.
- Collaborate with inventors, patent attorneys, and clients to develop prosecution strategies aligned with business objectives and patent portfolio goals.
- Review patent specifications, prosecution histories, examiner objections, and cited references to ensure consistency and accuracy in response strategies.
- Prepare responses to restriction requirements, examiner interviews, advisory actions, and other prosecution-related communications.
- Conduct supplementary prior-art searches and patentability assessments, when required, to support prosecution efforts and claim amendment strategies.




- Review and provide quality assurance for Office Action Responses prepared by junior team members, ensuring technical accuracy, legal soundness, and adherence to client-specific guidelines.
- Mentor and guide team members on USPTO examination practices, prosecution strategies, claim drafting principles, and best practices for responding to examiner rejections.
- Track application status, prosecution deadlines, and portfolio developments to ensure timely and effective management of patent prosecution matters.

- 3- 6 years of work experience in the field of Intellectual Property

Preferred Qualifications

- Location: Hybrid, Gurgaon
- Masters (B.E/M.Tech.) in Computer Science, Electronics
- Any Diploma in Intellectual Property will be an add on
