We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer with solid experience in industrial ammonia refrigeration to independently design and engineer refrigeration plants for food-processing applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design ammonia refrigeration systems, P&IDs; and refrigeration layouts
Perform refrigeration load calculations and equipment selection
Design ammonia piping, evaporators, condensers, receivers and pumping systems
Prepare GA drawings, BOQs, technical specifications and fabrication drawings
Coordinate with project, manufacturing, purchase and site teams
Review designs prepared by junior engineers
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning
Requirements
5+ years of relevant industrial refrigeration experience
Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel
Good understanding of refrigeration calculations, piping and equipment selection
Experience in food processing, meat, poultry or cold storage refrigeration is preferred
We are looking for someone who can take a project from concept to commissioning with minimum supervision.
