Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Adobe Commerce Developer with solid hands-on expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) and experience working with AEM and MuleSoft integrations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting scalable enterprise eCommerce solutions. The role involves building custom Adobe Commerce functionality, integrating commerce platforms with enterprise applications, and collaborating with AEM, MuleSoft, DevOps, and business teams to deliver seamless digital customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Adobe Commerce Development

Design, develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) applications.

Develop custom modules, extensions, themes, and integrations.

Customize and enhance core commerce functionalities, including:

Product Catalog

Pricing & Promotions

Shopping Cart & Checkout

Order Management

Customer Management

Search & Navigation

Implement and maintain multi-store and multi-site commerce solutions.

Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

AEM & Commerce Integration

Collaborate with AEM teams to deliver integrated content and commerce experiences.

Work with AEM concepts such as:

Components

Templates

Experience Fragments

Content Fragments

Digital Asset Management (DAM)





Support AEM-Commerce integrations for headless and hybrid commerce implementations.

Collaborate on personalized customer experiences across the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.

MuleSoft & Enterprise Integrations

Develop and support integrations between Adobe Commerce and enterprise applications using MuleSoft.

Work with integration teams to implement API-led connectivity solutions.

Develop and consume REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.

Support integrations with

ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle

CRM platforms

Order Management Systems (OMS)

Payment gateways

Shipping and tax service providers

Third-party enterprise applications

Troubleshoot and optimize API and MuleSoft integrations.

Technical Leadership

Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Estimate development effort and support sprint planning activities.

Ensure high-quality code through unit testing and automated testing.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Work effectively in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of overall software development experience.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Commerce / Magento 2 development.

Experience developing custom Magento modules, extensions, themes, and integrations.

Experience with Git-based source control.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and AEM-Commerce integrations.

Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

Knowledge of API-led connectivity and enterprise integration architecture.

Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud.

Experience with Headless Commerce architecture.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.

Adobe Commerce Developer Certification and/or MuleSoft Developer Certification.

Nice to Have

Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

Exposure to Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.

Experience with headless commerce using React, Next.js, or other SPA frameworks.

Knowledge of B2B Commerce capabilities.

Experience in retail, consumer products, or large-scale eCommerce implementations.
