Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, in office role based in Noida. This role involves guiding prospective students through NMIMS Online program options, explaining eligibility requirements, and helping them choose suitable courses and specializations aligned with their goals. The counselor will handle inbound and outbound inquiries, conduct counseling sessions via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and provide detailed information on admission processes and timelines.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing leads, following up with prospective students, assisting with application completion, coordinating enrolment steps,



and maintaining accurate records in internal systems.

The Senior Admissions

Counselor will also collaborate with the team to improve counseling processes, contribute to outreach and conversion strategies, and ensure a supportive, unbiased, and professional experience for all students.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to counsel diverse student profiles clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support throughout the admission journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, build trust, and effectively convert prospective students while maintaining ethical counseling standards.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in higher education counseling, online programs, or academic advising.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-ups.
- Comfort with CRM or lead management tools, basic MS Office/Google Workspace, and online communication platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, psychology, or business is preferred.
- Prior experience in admissions counseling, education sales, or student advising is highly beneficial.
