About the Role

ShriBalaji Overseas Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and confident Senior Account Manager to manage the company's complete accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial documentation activities.

The ideal candidate should have 6-10 years of relevant experience in the trading, wholesale, or import industry and should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting operations, GST and TDS compliances, import documentation, banking activities, notices, and case-related matters.

The candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-handling skills and be confident in coordinating with internal teams, consultants, banks, vendors, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle and supervise complete books of accounts and day-to-day accounting activities.
- Manage GST compliance, including GST data preparation, reconciliation, and timely GST return filing.
- Handle GST notices, correspondence, and related case matters.
- Prepare TDS data and ensure timely and accurate TDS return filing.
- Manage import-related accounting and documentation, including coordination and maintenance of relevant records.
- Handle import documentation and related compliance requirements.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy of banking transactions.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and other accounting transactions.
- Ensure proper maintenance and accuracy of accounting records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external parties as required.
- Assist in resolving accounting, GST, TDS, and taxation-related queries and cases.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory and financial compliances.




- Review financial data and identify discrepancies or accounting issues.
- Lead and supervise junior accounting team members and allocate work effectively.
- Ensure accounting processes are followed accurately and efficiently.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding accounts, taxation, compliance, and outstanding issues.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of GST and GST return filing
- Practical experience in GST notice handling and case handling
- Strong knowledge of TDS data preparation and TDS return filing
- Good understanding of import accounting and import documentation
- Expertise in bank reconciliation
- Ability to independently handle complete books of accounts
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Confident personality with the ability to independently handle responsibilities
- Good working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel

Industry Experience Candidates with prior experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:

- Trading
- Wholesale
- Import / Import & Trading
- Overseas Trading

Education & Experience

- Minimum Qualification: B.Com / Graduate in Commerce or related field
- Master's Degree: M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent will be an added advantage
- Experience: 610 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance
- Relevant experience specifically in trading, wholesale, or import industry is preferred.
