Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accounts Manager with strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, Tally, GST, TDS, and finalisation of books of accounts. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a CA firm or Advocate/Tax Consultancy office and should be capable of independently handling accounting, taxation, audit-related activities, and guiding junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Handle accounting and finalisation of books using Tally.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST returns, reconciliation, and related documentation.
- Manage TDS calculations, returns, and compliance.
- Handle Income Tax-related work, including preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns.
- Ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act and GST laws.
- Conduct checking and auditing of books of accounts.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.
- Perform bank, ledger, and other account reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and other accounting reports as required.
- Work extensively on Microsoft Excel for accounting, reporting,



reconciliation, and data analysis.
- Experience with Computax Software will be an added advantage.
- Review the work performed by junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy.
- Allocate tasks to junior team members and monitor their progress.
- Guide and support junior staff in accounting, taxation, and compliance-related activities.
- Coordinate and ensure timely completion of assignments and statutory compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for audit and tax purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts and Taxation.
- Solid working knowledge of Tally.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Practical knowledge of Income Tax Returns and GST Returns.
- Strong understanding of finalisation of books of accounts.
- Ability to audit and review books of accounts.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Computax Software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage, supervise, and guide junior staff.
- Strong ownership and ability to complete work within deadlines.
