Job Overview

Mood Retail and Marketing Private Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive with strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliances. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting activities, financial statements, taxation, reconciliations, and coordination with the company’s Chartered Accountant (CA) and Company Secretary (CS).

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and review provisional and final Balance Sheets.

· Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss Statements and other financial reports.

· Handle Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts.

· Manage General Ledger (GL), journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.

· Maintain accurate books of accounts and support monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing.

· Handle complete GST compliance, including GST returns, Input Tax Credit (ITC), reconciliations, e-invoicing, e-way bills, and related documentation.

· Manage TDS calculations, deductions, deposits, returns, reconciliations, and compliance.

· Handle and coordinate matters related to Income Tax and other applicable taxation requirements.

· Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, and legal compliances.

· Coordinate with the company’s CA and CS for statutory filings, audits, financial statements, taxation, and compliance matters.

· Prepare schedules, reports, supporting documents,



and financial data required for statutory and internal audits.

· Monitor and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor ledgers, customer ledgers, and expenses.

· Maintain proper accounting and statutory documentation and address compliance discrepancies in a timely manner.

· Support management with financial reports and accounting information whenever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

· Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

· Strong practical knowledge of Balance Sheet preparation and finalization.

· Strong understanding of Profit & Loss Accounts, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.

· In-depth working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.

· Good understanding of applicable financial, accounting, and legal compliance requirements.

· Ability to independently coordinate with CA, CS, auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments.

· Good working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.

· Solid analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and financial reporting skills.

· High attention to detail and ability to meet statutory and internal deadlines.

Candidate Preference

· Immediate joiners or candidates available at short notice will be preferred.

· Should be capable of independently taking ownership of accounting and compliance activities.

· Should be organized, responsible, and comfortable handling multiple accounting and statutory responsibilities simultaneously.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
