Role Description The Senior Accounting Executive is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial accounting and reporting activities. This role includes maintaining general ledgers, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and other key accounts, and ensuring accurate posting of all financial transactions.

Executive will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting,



and monitor cash flow and expense controls. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, and company policies.

Executive will contribute to process improvements in the finance function, support management with financial analyses, and uphold strong internal controls.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and practices, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and vendor and client account management.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (such as Tally, SAP, or similar tools), along with solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and regulatory filing requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare budgets, monitor variances, support cash flow management, and perform financial analysis for decision support.
- Attention to detail, solid numerical aptitude, and the ability to work with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
