Role Purpose The role involves hands-on exposure to end-to-end accounting, MIS preparation, taxation, compliance, Project Cost management and coordination with other Team.

1. Receivables and Payment Recovery

- Monitor customer outstanding payments, ageing, credit periods, and overdue accounts.
- Coordinate reconciliations, credit notes, debit notes, invoice corrections, documentation, and other matters affecting payments.

2. MIS and Financial Reporting

- Maintain management information systems for all important financial and commercial areas.
- Ensure accurate, structured, and updated data is available in Excel or approved software.
- Prepare , weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering sales, collections, receivables, ageing, cash flow, expenses and budget versus actuals.
- Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and easy for management to review.

3. Cost Accounting and Profitability Improvement

- Maintain project-wise costing systems.
- Calculate actual cost of products, projects, installation, labour, transportation, wastage, and overheads.
- Compare standard costing with actual costing.

Cash Flow and Working Capital Management

- Monitor expected collections and planned payments.
- Execute vendor payments, salaries, statutory liabilities, and operational expenses as per Management .
- Monitor receivables, payables, inventory, advances, retentions, and other working-capital elements.

5. Budgeting and Financial Planning

- Support annual and departmental budgeting.
- Track actual performance against budgets.

6. Accounting & MIS Execution

- Review and execution of Project accounting & General Accounting entries including:

i. Revenue and expenses ii.Payroll iii. Provisions and accruals iv. Receipts and payments v. Depreciation and amortization vi. Prepaid expenses
- Bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
- Ledger scrutiny and clean-up activities
- Preparation of schedules for:
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statements
- Bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations
- Ledger scrutiny and clean-up activities
