Key Responsibilities

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

- GST Management: Oversee end-to-end GST compliance, including preparing and filing monthly/quarterly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C).
- GST Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of GSTR-2B/2A with purchase registers to maximize Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims.
- TDS Compliance: Compute, deduct, and deposit TDS accurately. Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q) and issue Form 16/16A.
- Tax Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory audits, tax audits, and GST assessments.

General Bookkeeping & Core Accounting

- Financial Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring precise classification of expenses, revenues, assets, and liabilities.
- Banking Operations: Oversee daily bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and vendor payment processing.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding invoices, and ensure timely vendor disbursements.




- Month-End Closing: Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including provisions, prepaid expenses, and depreciation entries.

Financial Reporting & Management

- Financial Statements: Prepare accurate Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements, and cash flow reports.
- MIS Reporting: Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports to provide management with actionable financial insights.

? Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), Inter-CA, or Inter-CMA.
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or enterprise ERP systems (like SAP/Oracle), alongside advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Tax Knowledge: Solid, up-to-date knowledge of Indian Income Tax (TDS/TCS) and GST laws.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
