SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, financial records, reporting, statutory compliance, and coordination with management and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle purchase, sales, receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, and ledger accounts.
- Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform bank reconciliation and regular ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, outstanding receivables and payables.
- Assist with monthly closing and finalization of accounts.
- Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other statutory accounting-related requirements in coordination with the concerned team.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, sales, stores, HR and management regarding financial and accounting matters.
- Verify employee-related payments, advances, expenses and other financial transactions.
- Monitor and maintain proper records of company assets,



expenses and stock-related financial entries.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take necessary corrective action.
- Support external auditors, consultants and management during audits.
- Ensure accounting entries and records are maintained accurately and on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic statutory compliance.
- Good knowledge of ledger, reconciliation, invoicing and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information.
- Experience in a manufacturing or furniture industry will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing accounting and inventory-related transactions.
- Ability to prepare management reports and analyse financial data.

Working Conditions Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Weekly Off: Sunday

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary: Based on experience and capability
