Role & responsibilities : -

- Finalisation of Accounts: Independently handle the year-end and quarter-end finalisation of Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).

- Manufacturing Account Preparation: Prepare detailed manufacturing accounts to ascertain the Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) by accurately aggregating raw material costs,direct labour, and factory overheads.

- Inventory Accounting: Oversee complex inventory valuation, including Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods. Ensure monthly physical stock reconciliations match book records.

- General Ledger Management: Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate provisions, accruals, and prepayments are recorded for every month-end closing.

- Audit Readiness: Lead the preparation of audit schedules and act as the primary liaison for Statutory and Internal Auditors,



ensuring all queries are resolved timely.

- Costing & Variance Analysis: Perform monthly variance analysis between budgeted costs and actual production expenses to provide actionable insights for cost control.

- Fixed Assets Management: Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), ensuring accurate depreciation calculations for plant and machinery.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

- Education: CA Intermediate (Both groups cleared).

- Experience: 4-5 years in manufacturing, with hands-on exposure to plant-level accounting.

- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of TallyPrime or ERP systems like SAP.

- MS Excel: Expert-level skills in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas for financial modelling and reporting.
