Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, TDS, and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory returns.
- Ensure timely calculation and payment of TDS, GST, and other statutory liabilities.
- Assist in preparation of profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
- Maintain proper records for audits and support internal and statutory audit requirements.
- Monitor expenses, payments, collections, and outstanding balances.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers,



and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Support budgeting, financial analysis, MIS reporting, and management reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred
- Experience in handling accounts for multiple branches/entities.
- Experience in preparing MIS and management reports.
- CA Inter / M.Com / MBA Finance qualification will be an added advantage.
