Job Title: Accountant – Export Finance & Banking

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in export accounting to manage our financial operations related to international trade. This role requires someone who can work independently, coordinate confidently with banks, and keep our books sharp and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end export accounting: invoicing, shipping bill reconciliation, GST (LUT/refund claims), and export incentive schemes (RoDTEP, duty drawback, etc.)
- Coordinate with bank representatives for LC (Letter of Credit) processing, bank realization certificates (BRC), FIRC tracking, and export documentation
- Handle foreign currency transactions, forex fluctuation accounting, and hedging-related entries
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally and Excel, including bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and monthly closing
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances relevant to export trade
- Liaise with CHA (Customs House Agents), freight forwarders, and banks for smooth documentation flow




- Track receivables against export invoices and follow up on payment realization timelines
- Ensure compliance with RBI/FEMA guidelines applicable to export transactions

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- 2–5 years of experience in export accounting or international trade finance
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP and solid command over Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Clear understanding of core accounting concepts (debits/credits, reconciliation, ledgers)
- Familiarity with export documentation: LC, BRC, FIRC, shipping bills, invoices
- Prior experience coordinating directly with bank officials for trade finance matters
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
