Overall Purpose of The Job

Responsible to achieve required performance levels in terms of quality, efficiency, and timely manner. Identify the scope of process improvement and work towards implementing the improvement ideas in Global Shared Service (Finance Shared Service Centre of V. Group).

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

- Process accounts payable and expense reimbursements
- Process accounts payable (AP)
- Verify AP pay file with purchase order vendor master file
- Retain records
- Adjust accounting records
- Audit invoices and key data in AP system
- Process financial accruals and reversals
- Process payroll taxes
- Research/Resolve payroll exceptions
- Process payments
- Respond to process related queries
- Perform Statement of Accounts Reconciliation for Vendors
- Process expense reimbursements




- Establish and communicate expense reimbursement policies and approval limits
- Process reimbursements and advances
- Prepare monthly matrix for the respective entities
- Provide trainings to New Hires
- Audit transactions processed by Accounts Assistants
- Support TL in administrative tasks
- Share best practices with other team members
- Works on Process Improvement projects
- Prepares matrix for their respective entities

Essential

- Full time Graduation in Commerce or any other related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Should have extensive hands-on working experience, worked within Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, General Ledger, or Travel Reimbursement department
- Excellent accounting knowledge.
- Good English communication skills written and verbal.
- Experience in Accountant Payable/ Procure to pay preferred.
- Valuable interpersonal / business skills both oral and written with good telephonic skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative in a Team environment.
- Good organizational and Time Management skills.
- Analytical approach / Problem-solving skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office, advance excel skills (VLookup, pivot tables etc.)

Desirable

- Fluency in English and any other foreign language will be an added advantage.
- ERP and Banking transactions experience will be an added advantage
