Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring budgets, ensuring accurate cost accounting for manufacturing activities, and supporting statutory audits and tax filings.

Accountant will also maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, coordinate with internal departments on financial queries, and assist in improving financial processes and internal controls. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thoothukudi,



requiring regular presence at the facility and close collaboration with the operations and management teams.

Qualifications

- Qualification is CA Inter/ Mcom /MBA (Finance)
- Experience is 2 to 5 years
- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, cost accounting, and financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or export-oriented environment.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of statutory compliance, including taxation, GST, audit processes, and relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, along with solid data accuracy and documentation skills.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
