Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly/annual closing activities. This role will prepare and review financial statements, ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and support audits by coordinating with internal and external auditors.

Accountant will analyze financial data to provide insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and assist management with financial planning and cost control. Additional responsibilities include implementing and improving accounting processes,



monitoring internal controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on finance-related matters. This is a full time, on-site role based in Gurgaon.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Candidates should possess expertise in taxation, compliance, and regulatory reporting, including knowledge of applicable local tax laws, GST/TDS, statutory filings, and audit support.
- Candidates should possess financial analysis and planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems, Tally or similar platforms, and advanced Excel skills.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities, along with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting role, preferably 5+ years, in IT services, technology, or a related industry will be considered an advantage.
