• Process day-to-day banking transactions and perform bank reconciliations — across multiple bank accounts on cloud accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Exact Online).
• Book and verify deposit receipts, refunds, and related transactions — in line with client-specific processes.
• Maintain accurate rental/tenant lists and related property administration records.
• Support hotel/property administration bookkeeping, including executing and communicating payments.
• Perform monthly current account and VAT entry checks, with review support from the Senior Accountant.
• Assist in preparing service charge statements and supporting schedules for client properties.
• Maintain clean, audit-ready records and consistently follow documented SOPs.
• Flag discrepancies, exceptions, or process gaps promptly to the Senior Accountant / Team Lead.
• Support onboarding and knowledge-transfer activities as new accounts or processes are introduced.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably supporting international clients (UK/US/Europe).
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books; willingness and ability to quickly learn new platforms (e.g., Exact Online).
• Solid understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and core bookkeeping principles.
• Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with a deadline-driven approach to monthly and quarterly close cycles.
• Ability to work independently once trained, while consistently following established processes and SOPs.
• Willingness to work in shifts aligned with European business hours.
